Social responsibility is considered as a core business line for the company group – according to its corporate philosophy every company is obliged to support the society that made them successful. Even as a large business organisation the company successfully maintained its traditional, family-focused values: the respect and honour of its employees, professional fairness and creation of added value are the key elements of the corporate philosophy.

PENSIO Minőségi Közétkeztetés Kft. places enormous emphasis on the protection of the environment, keeps the emission of harmful materials at the lowest possible level by using only local ingredients, continuously restrains its water consumption, trains its employees to manage waste materials in accordance with the ISO 14001:2005 environment management standard and contracts suppliers also complying with the standard.

The group is also an enthusiastic supporter of the strengthening of several local communities – hence the assistance granted to several community events organised by its institutional clients, and also delivered food to school ceremonies, Christmas parties on a discounted price.

The group pursues a diverse range of sponsorship activities. It has already granted support for the creation of school exhibition halls, for the organisation of a national chess competition, and also participated in strengthening community values via sponsoring a female soccer team. Furthermore, the group also joins both local and nation-wide charity actions on an ongoing basis. Based on the founder’s traditions the group is a committed supporter of the Vasas Sports Club, the Hungarian boxing community, numerous local martial arts teams and also the ice hockey team of FTC. Adequate support is provided also to young sportsmen living among difficult conditions, as well as to Gábor Kucsera, world and European kayak champion, or Dóra Vass, several times national rhythmic gymnastics champion. The group grants sponsorship directly or indirectly to some 400 sportsmen.
